Thanx to Uncle Chivas, Uncle Martell and Uncle JD, we had a blast last nite counting down to the hour. I am proud to say that I put my fear of popping balloons aside and bravely bulldozed thru the dozens of balloons to get to the treasures hidden inside. Some smart ass saw the spooked look in my eyes and immediately starting popping ‘em balloons on my back!

All in all, it was mighty FUN. Sweetheart was like a little kid, excitedly popping the balloons and quickly grabbing hold of whatever that fell out. Admittedly, I was feeling like a kid myself as we rallied around our table to tally up our loot with our frenz.

From free buckets of beer to free bottles of whisky and vodka to miniatures to gift sets from Martell, Chivas and JD - it really felt like Santa just dropped down the chimney and delivered all these goodies to us! Everyone was just in a super duper merry mood. Who wouldn’t be, eh?

As I am writing this, half of X’mas Day is already gone. As expected, we had to take half the day to recuperate from the partying last nite. My man is still snoring in our bedroom. LOL. Will need to wake him up soon for the next round of celebrations - X’mas Day eating & boozing!

The madness begins now. The celebrations do not end till early Jan and we are gonna be heading down South for the 2nd part of the celebrations with more frenz and family to usher in 2009.
