Eat Well, Exercise Well

Together with my bff, we decided to put our Nihon cooking skills to the test since it’s been awhile since we last cooked Japanese food. Happy to say, we’ve still got the touch. :D
.
Go here to check out the pix of the food and the peeps.

.
It was actually very easy to cook for this bunch of folks. Considering that we’ve sweated, shouted and pushed ourselves to the brink of physical limits together….we actually shared the same taste in food as well.

.
Curry : No santan (coconut milk), no oil. Just lotsa potatoes (for the energy!), carrots, onions and lean pork.
Soup : Clear miso soup with clams to sweeten the taste. No oil either.
Vege : Stir-fried with very minimal oil.
Chicken : Breast meat only. The leanest part of the chicken. No skin, no fat.

.
See? Super duper easy. T’was all whipped up quickly and the peeps dug into the food like there’s no tomorrow! Man, I was amazed at their super healthy appetites. No “a little bit for me enuf dee” or “I am on a diet lah, duwan to eat too much” kinda nonsense. In fact, the full pot of rice we cooked was scrapped clean in minutes! I had to quickly cook more rice to feed these folks.

.
Thanks for your great company and fun times, gymmies. Eat as much as we exercise, huh??? ;) Definitely more makan sessions to come!
