Many moons ago, I swore to myself that I will never EVER love another HK movie the way I fell in love with this one. Of coz I grew out of that promise but it had always stayed in my all-time favourite HK movie list.

Thanks to a certain someone, I was reminded of this again when he sent me an email with the youtube of the movie’s theme song. Sally’s hairstyle in the video is a dead giveaway that it was a classic 80’s movie, eh? LOL.

I’ve always loved Sally Yeh (and still do) who played her role of a spoilt heiress to the T. I think it was around that era of my life when I sharpened my definition of ‘My Dream Man’. I was practically dreaming and drooling over Mark Cheng every single night of my life then! (If you are a FLAME fan, you have Mark to thank for coz he was the one who started this makan chain in Penang & KL) It’s funny tho, how I realised as I grew up that it was the nerds that turned me on, not the jocks who are just nice to ‘cuci mata’ but are usually (not all, but most) empty up there.

Yeah, I am not ashamed to tell you that it’s the nerds that rock my boat. If you are close enough to me and know my relationship history, think back to all the guys I’ve been serious with (don’t count the non-serious ones lah!). Each and every one of them fits the nerd suit, no? Even my Sweetheart admits that he is a 100% nerd. LOL.

Hey! Mark also acted as a sadist. And ur dreams ah? Take care he could do a long distance hypnotism… hahaha. Two years ago, he declared in HK that our chicken are not up to the Mark.
The reporters asked what type chicken, and what MARK? He laughed!

Aiya, never mind. I’ve actually outgrown this dude. Told ya I’ve grown an affinity for nerds loh. This Mark Cheng is faarrr from a nerd to me lah. So fear not, my fren…I am safe from the HK-star-who-thinks-M’sian-chicken-is-not-up-to-the-mark.

- he’s able to fill a conversation with stuffs other than food, sports or bikes/cars
- he’s super duper witty (meaning no stupid/lame jokes)
- he’s able to communicate in decent English (doesn’t have to be Queen’s English. As long as I don’t hear nails on chalkboard when he speaks. And plz, NO HORRENDOUS GAMMAR!)
- he knows when to be naughty when he needs to be (don’t ask me what that means. Kids may read this

So, simply put, a guy who’s knows both the theoretical and practical aspects of Life.
