This year, he pretty much had it covered. From a swanky KL hotel room for Celebration # 1 to a Superclub in Subang for Celebration # 2 and finally, to the beach in Penang for Celebration # 3. Then again, how could we expect any less from one of the smoothest operators we’ve ever known?
I am now a firm believer of the fact that cakes do not need to be purchased from big franchises like Secret Recipe or popular stores like Jenni’s Cake House to taste good. Even the small corner bakery at the Ground Floor of Tesco (which goes by the totally unknown name of “FAIRY”) sells some pretty darn good cakes. I know coz I had 2 huge slices of the chocolate moist cake even though I was already full from dinner and drinks. Just had to make a mental note to work harder at the gym.
