Someone dear to us got hitched and moved Down Under to be with her beloved Aussie hubby. This Raya, she flew back to Penang to celebrate with family and friends. Boy, were we glad to see her! Always the life of any parties, her absence has been sorely missed.
It has always been tradition for us to head over to her mom’s place to enjoy her incredibly-delicious rendang and ketupat. Here’s proof of how good her cooking is. They say contented faces do not lie. It’s true.

It was great to see and catch up with Els and her mom. Last we saw her mom was 2 Raya’s ago just before Els moved Down South. Of coz someone had to embarass us by walking up to her mom and going “Selamat Hari Jadi, Auntie” and in the same breath went “Oh sorrie! Maksud I, Selamat Hari Raya, Auntie!”
