Planning is good and safe … but frightfully BORING!
The weekend was everything but boring.
Friday Sept 26th
Noon : Damn, they still can’t figure out what’s wrong with Woody ![]()
1pm : Work’s such a royal pain in the a$$ atm
2pm : Fark it! Let’s just drive down South to get away from all things familiar.
4pm : Throw stuff into weekend bag.
4.30pm : Pick up Sweetheart from office and headed to the bridge.
6pm : We *hate* Penang Bridge traffic.
6.05pm : Wow….amazing how the traffic suddenly cleared up after the bridge.
9pm : Helllloooo KL!
9.30pm : Burger King never tasted better!!! Yummmieee….
10pm onwards : Celebration # 1
Saturday Sept 27th
- Segambut seafood noodles….yum! But so expensive now. Price has increased 50% since we were last there.
- Imported beer is evil. Even for non-beer drinkers like us. “Auntie, can you please get your guy to load 2 crates to our car?”
- Catch up time. Always the best.
- Liverpool fans are nuts. Whooops, did I write that out? Guess I did.

You’ll never walk alone, dudes! - Tony Roma’s in Malaysia is pork-free. What a bummer. Beef ribs will never taste as good as pork ribs. Mentally struck it off our places-to-makan-in-KL list.
- Celebration # 2.
- Clubbing @ MOS rox!!! No smelly hair the next morning. No 2nd hand smoking. Sweetheart & I were in HEAVEN!!! I mean, EUPHORIA :D
- He got lucky. Kinda. Hahaha….
- I got pissed drunk. Kinda. Not-so hahaha….
Sunday Sept 28th
- Lazy dazy Sunday morning. Nothing but cuddles and fooling around.
- Ipoh Hor Fun in SS2 is actually comparable to Ipoh Hor Fun in Ipoh.
- Meet-the-babies time. So keeeewt!
- More catch up time with more folks.
- Where did the time fly to??? Time to head back North already???? But there are still so many other frenz we have not met up with yet!
And that’s the summary of our fun-packed impromptu weekend. Most liberating, I tell ya. No planning. Just do it. Love, love, love the free feeling!
