Had a termite attack in my apartment recently but they were centered in my parents'bedroom. The floors of our bedrooms are parquet, so it's a hotspot. Lucky my mom works for a chemical company and her boss recommended this powder form substance that you sprinkle on the termites. The temites that carry the poison back to their nest will die and spread the poison to their comrades because it seems they cannibalize their dead.

But she called in an exterminator the next day, anyway because it's a lot of work looking for where they are having their latest feeding session.

There was one really bad infestation in our old house but it was on an old trunk of a tree that we had chopped off long ago. People say the best way to combat this is to pour kerosine and burn because unlike the liquid poison that people use, which can only permeate limited places, gas from the burning will spread more effectively. Of course, this is only applicable if the infestation happens out of doors and you are afraid that it will spread to your house.

Yup... I know what you mean cause I've heard the sound and seen those creatures with my eyes. Had goose bumps after looking at those termites. YIKES !!!! Even now, thinking about it can also feel my bulu roma standing HIGH UP.

So best to ask the pest control companies to check yearly for precaution. It doesn't matter if it's for landed properties or apartments. Only a matter of time those creatures will attack.
