Passion is Thy Name!

Earlier this week, I wrote about this.

Today, I am writing to SHOUT OUT to the whole world that I am insanely in love with it!!!

In my years of working out at the gym (what to do, I love to eat mah. So must work hard at the gym loh), I’ve never felt *so* energised about feeling tired! I know I’m not making any sense but trust me, it’s the kinda exercise that forces you to give your best shot….makes you feel like you left your soul up there at your last jump….yet, gets you so addicted that you couldn’t blardy stop even though your entire physical being was crying out for a break. It’s really that maniacal.

Upon reaching the launch site on launch day, we saw this.

I must admit that the sight of those trampolines got me rather excited! Together with some other gym members, we tested them out just to be sure they’ll hold our weight. *teehee*

Since it started in Brazil in September 2004, its popularity caught on like wildfire all over North and South America. Four years later in September 2008, it was brought to our shores. *Yayyy* First time ever in Asia! It was brought to the Malaysian public by Celebrity Fitness (CF) and was launched on the same day in KL and Penang. So on 09.09.08, we made our mark in Malaysia’s history book as the first Asian country to launch POWER JUMP in this region! *proud beam*

Some reporters were at the launch to capture the event. Not sure who from where was invited but I’m sure you will read about this wonderful cardio workout somewhere sometime in the very near future. It’s too darn good to be missed!

• Fernando - CF instructor from Brazil
• David - CF head instructor from Penang
• Rafael - CF instructor from Brazil (ladies swoon in his classes, I swear!)
• Mr Ambassador Gurney - Some guys who won the good looking people contest organised by Gurney Plaza. I personally didn’t think they’re cute.
• Cute but short dude - I think he’s also one of the Mr Ambassador Gurney guys but I singled him out coz I think he’s cute. Too bad he’s short. I don’t dig short guys.
• Ms Malaysia Earth 2005 (I think, coz I wasn’t paying attention to the announcement. Was too busy checking her out). Name is Danielle Khor. I think she’s a cutie and I dig her. *drool*
• Ms Congeniality (I think also, coz was too busy admiring her babydoll face). Didn’t catch her name tho.
• Ms Malaysia World 2002 - Name is Mable Ng and she’s also a regular member at CF. Really friendly gal and yup, a hottie too!
• Ms Dunno (erm, am sure she has a proper title but I wasn’t paying attention to the announcement nor to her). Don’t really dig her.

Since it was a Tuesday, there wasn’t much of a crowd on launch day. Didn’t understand why the CF folks didn’t pick a weekend to draw in the crowd. Oh well, I’m sure they had valid reasons.

That night, we went home tired as hell but happy as heaven! Don’t ask me how that works. It just does. We’re definitely gonna be super-regulars at the POWER JUMP classes every week. :)))
