About 2 weeks ago, I received an invitation from Frienster Blog team to participate in the beta testing of their new blog product (Blogs 2.0) which will be officially launched on September 10th 2008.

Apparently, there will be some new and exciting features in the new release. The catch is, I have to help them test out the tool and ride through the teething period with them.
.
So, what does it mean to you as my friends and readers?
.
It will mean that from today onwards till September 10th, I will not be posting any new entries in my current Friendster blogosphere. Instead, I will be posting from the new beta blog and then provide them feedback on whatever hiccups I encounter so that they can tweak the tool till all the ‘bugs’ are fixed.

Why have I waited 2 weeks before finally deciding to ‘work’ for them as a beta user? Because of the below reasons :
- My current blog pictures will not be available in the Beta 2.0 version. Will it mean that I cannot upload new pictures to my new posts? I am not sure until I start using the beta tool.
- I may lose some of my posts.
- The beta 2.0 may be down intermittently for maintenance (and those dear to me know that patience is not my best virtue)

On the other hand, I am curious as hell to find out what this new beta tool has to offer us. So today, I have decided to take the plunge!

As I enter the realm of the beta world, you may not see any activities in this space for awhile. Not sure if the new posts I upload as a beta user will be visible to you folks.

So, please be patient, ok? Let’s consider it a small investment on our part towards a richer reading/blogging experience for you and for me.

Ei…don’t lah jump to conclusion, gurl. I may be able to get you folks visibility to the beta tool.
Or at worst, I can still update my blogspot space. You just need to be more ‘hardworking’ to check that space instead of waiting for an email notification.
i never wait for email notification these days, I check ur friendster blog everyday when I login. just that blogspot url I lazy to save in my fav… hehehehe..
