That applies to the XXIX Olympiad as well. 15 days after this, we decided to get together to witness the torch-out moment as well as to see if the English folks could upkeep the Olympics motto : Citius, Altius, Fortius.

Highlights that are worth mentioning :
- The ‘I Love Beijing’ performance by some good looking peeps. Although the song was belted out by various artists, I am pretty darn sure only 2 faces stood out for millions of viewers across the globe. That of Wang LeeHom and Rain. I dare you to deny it, girls!

- The ridiculous 10-seconds of fame for Beckham. I’m sorry to say this but after this silly little act, my expectations of the London Olympics in 2012 has just moved to Ground Zero. It may be symbolic for Beckham fans but I’d bet my bottom dollar that 99% of the global viewers had their eyes on the violinist standing next to him in her super skimpy blue shorts. Heh…

Then, there’s the expected show of lights, fireworks and the ‘Wow-so-many-humans!’ factor. However, it was slightly below my personal expectation considering how they blew the world away 16 days ago with the opening ceremony.
