New Toy

It’s actually something I’ve been shopping around for awhile but didn’t find any that I like or within my allocated budget.
.
I was grocery shopping at Tesco when I chanced upon it last weekend. Within seconds of viewing the product, I was already sold. The salesman went on and on with his sales pitch and wouldn’t stop even when I asked him how much the damage would be. Since I was in a hurry to rush home to cook for D’s surprise birthday party, I had to be a little abrupt and told him "Uncle, please tell me how much can ah? I want to buy already. So, can you stop your sales pitch please?". That did the trick.
.
And man, was I like an excited kid with a new toy!
You will understand why after I explain the tricks it has up its sleeves. ;)
.
6in1
.
And it looks mighty fine too, doesn’t it?
.
So, here is what it is capable of :

  • Mixing
  • Juicing
  • Blending
  • Grinding
  • Grating
  • Chopping

Cool, eh?
.
Exciting things I can play around with :

  • Chop fresh herbs (no more bottled dried herbs, yayyyy!)
  • Grind spices
  • Grate cheese
  • Make smoothies
  • Grind soy beans (homemade soymilk!)
  • Grind coffee beans (altho I don’t drink coffee, it’s still a nice-to-have feature, eh?)
    *smug grin*
  • Prepare Sweetheart’s fav fresh apple-n-orange juice
  • Make my very own frozen daiquiri
*Can you guess this is my fav feature on my new toy? ;)*

All the above and much, much more for a mere RM 199.
.
Worth it? Totally!

You forgot to add that it doesn’t sound like a construction site when it’s turned on.

Hahaha!!! Tks for the reminder, WP.
No blender/grinder/chopper/mixer/juicer/grater purrs as quietly as this baby. :)))

Oh, I forgot to add one more thing.
See those color-rimmed glasses? I can make smoothies/juice/any other drinks and then serve it straight from those glasses. No need to pour them out to be served.
    Cool, eh???

I’ve seen it at Tesco but never bother to ask the salesman how much it cost. Now I know how much.

    Great buy.

Erm, it’s actually not sold IN Tesco. It’s one of those small stalls set outside the hypermarket but its within the Tesco building.
It’s a vendor for SMART SHOP actually. Can get it from any SMART SHOP outlet. Its motor has a 2-year warranty.
And yes, it is a GREAT deal! :D

Really? Wow…mine has been working like a gem so far. No dripping or any nonsense. *touch wood!*

Sweetheart loves it tho. He gets his fresh orange-apple juice now after every meal at home.
