Bacon & Baby Asparagus Penne Carbonara
This has got to be the EASIEST pasta dish to whip up!

What :
- Bacon (ends & pieces)
- Baby Asparagus (cut into inch-long sizes)
- Penne pasta
- Eggs
- Cream
- Parmesan Cheese
- Freshly-grated black pepper
(don’t need salt coz the pasta will be cooked in salted water and bacon is salty too)
How :
- Sautee the bacon till golden brown.
- Add the baby asparagus into the pan and stir fry for another 2 minutes.
- Cook the penne in salted water till al dente. Drain the water out but DO NOT rinse the pasta with cold water.
- Mix the penne to the bacon and baby asparagus.
- Turn off the fire and toss in the beaten eggs to the pasta.
- Pour a generous amount of cream and parmesan cheese.
- Continue stirring till the dish’s sauce is as thick and creamy as you like it to be.
- Sprinkle on the black pepper.
- MAKAN!

Tandoori Aloo (Baby Potatoes)
A super-easy-to-prepare North Indian appetiser

What :
(All easily available at Little India, no matter which part of the globe you are at *wink*)
- Powdered cumin seeds (jintan manis)
- Powdered coriander (daun ketumbar)
- Finely-chopped Garlic
- Chopped Dried Chillies
- Kasoori Methi (Fenugreek Leaves - MUST use the leaves, not the seeds)
- Cream
- Dash of salt
How :
- Mix the cumin seed powder and coriander powder with some water.
- Add the chopped garlic and cream. Mix till pureed.
- Throw in the dried chillies and fenugreek leaves. Mix it into a paste. Put aside.
- Boil the baby potatoes till soft.
- Drain the water and poke the baby potatoes with a fork to ensure they’ve softened.
- Rub the prepared paste onto the baby potatoes.
- Serve with toothpicks or cocktail picks.
- MAKAN!
