I learnt a couple of important lessons from my recent highland trip.
- Cameron Highlands (CH) is getting too commercialised and polluted by the day. It will not be long before it’s not worth making a trip there any more.
- We visited the famous Kea Farm. I was not impressed at all. The vege sold there are not good quality ones and price-wise, not that inexpensive either. I was shopping at Tesco back in Penang the following weekend and found the same vege for almost the same price - plus minus a few cents.
- The strawberries sold there are also sub-standard and the strawberry vendors are the loudest. All total scams, methinks. One vendor was shouting "Strawberry Sale! 2 packs for RM10 only! For the next 5 mins only!" and another one shouting "Rain coming! Remaining strawberries will go for super cheap price! Special rain discount!".

Of cos that 5 mins went on for hours (at least until the vendor sells out all his strawberries) and the the discount has nothing to do with the rain.

*There is a Chinese saying that we get what we paid for. I am a firm believer of that*

- Due to its popularity amongst tourists, steamboat meals are rather pricey at the restaurants. We did find a decent place for RM16 per adult for a set steamboat meal. Did it blow our minds away? Nope. Was it edible? Yes. Would I go back? Hmmm…am not sure if I will go back to CH for that matter.
- There is a Starbucks in Tanah Rata town.
- Only ONE thing is worth giving the thumbs-up for. The Strawberry White Coffee from Strawberry Moment. Priced at RM15 for a pack of 10 sachets, it is simply the yummiest coffee I have ever tasted in my entire life! And mind you, I am not a coffee drinker/lover. Yet, I found this reeealllly good. Ended up buying a pack back for WP who cannot live without her daily coffee dosage.

In a nutshell, you are not missing much if you do not have it on your Cuti-Cuti Malaysia roadmap.

I’m gonna find out from them if there is any other way for us to order it and have it delivered to us in Penang. Or if we can get it from anywhere in Penang. Will let you know when I find out.
